Busy pier and very little capacity on the WSH bike path
The stations at 26th and 22nd are often full in the evening and quite empty in the mornings. Extra capacity is much needed in this area and 24th st would be a good way to spread out the capacity and also complete the ever-other-block pattern that is otherwise there between 22nd and 30th on 10th ave
A station here would provide convenient service to Chelsea waterside park and also easy connection to the Eastbound M23 bus which has a stop midway between 12th and 11th aves.
This block is popular for its galleries and draws crowds on Thursday's and Sunday's. This would also help alleviate some of the lack of capacity west of 10th ave. The street is around 4 cars wide (including parking) so there is plenty of space for a station
Many residential buildings on this street as well as access to the park, basketball courts, and ball fields
More last mile access from Clinton Washington exit
More bikes available for open streets access
No station here - a new one should be built. There are two new large residential buildings underprogress, and many residential buildings within two blocks.
At least 1500 new apartments being developed in this area at a long distance from MTA transport. Also, incredibly busy park on weekends and evenings, especially during good weather. Would greatly benefit the residents, especially the affordable and lower income tenants to have bike share access.
