I recently began commuting to this area and have noticed that the citi bike parking spots are often full at all the nearby stations. This location is accessible from the Hudson River bike path and would be used by many people commuting to nearby office buildings.
Three large Google offices have moved many employees to the area in June. Most of the stations within a 4 block radius are fully occupied in the mornings. The Citi Bike station density is lower here than anywhere in the surrounding area. Also The station on Spring/Hudson is closed due to construction.
Dock is empty at the end of the day (commutes out of downtown) and full in the morning (commutes to downtown). More capacity would be great!
Bike share needed especially now that 81st and 1st location is gone.
We really need a Citi bike station at the United Nations International School of at Waterside Plaza!!! Please!!! The subway is extremely far away, and there's a bike path right here. The nearest stations are on the other side of FDR. Please bring Citi bike to UNIS and Waterside!
there are 3 large size residency building here and no bike station nearby. the nearby stations are often empty due to school and other residency building nearby. this area is very far away from subways and it would be great to have a bike station.
ADD docking station in front of RAND Liquor OR Community Garden. DO NOT ADD docking station in front of 228 CLIFTON PL aka MR. FRIENDLY PET SUPPLY.
