Citibike station near the entrance of Jacob Javits Playground, with easy access to the A station and Ft Tryon Park. This could also make the area safer by reducing parking so close to the park entrance.
This intersection is being redesigned and the slip turn here will be closed. A perfect little plaza for a Citibike station. Thanks!
Perfect spot near subway and park
Right on the border or the bronx. Major hub.
Close to 207th street subway station, large space available between Isham and 211th.
next to subway entrance/exit, next to hospital entrance, close to side street for safer biking,
Perfect location right at entrance/exit from greenway. And if you're heading back up from there, no need to bike all the way uphill on 181!
THere is a NEW perdestrian and bike bridge just blocks away from here. This is a perfect spot for people biking north from downtown who live in the lower section of Washington Heights. PLus, there's room for a kiosk here along the sidewalk of the viaduct, so you would not need to remove parking spots.
THe city is putting millions of dolllars into restoring HighBridge park. A kiosk here would encourage folks to explore the newly renovated park.
