wide sidewalks (on E side of street) close to buses and subways.
in front of a public school and close to stores
there is a small triangular park that would be a great place for bikes and docks -- its also close to St Nicholas which has a bike path and limited traffic
right outside entrance to CCNY. there are usually food trucks nearby.
good for those going to/from indoor pool and other activities that are deep in the park.
Wide sidewalk; close to subway, city pool, and several apartment buildings
There is a plaza adjacent to the Amsterdam Avenue that is a great place for a bike share site because there are bike lanes on Amsterdam Avenue, it is a community gathering spot with CSA location, it is close to the M100, M101 buses for transfer, and close to schools, restaurants.
This is an excellent place for a citibike station near the park at the bottom of the hill. St Nicholas has a bike lane and its a great place from the neighborhood to grab a bike and go for a ride.
Great place to put a citibike station for Hostos Community College students on the sidewalk there at Exterior St. I also think there should be a citibike station near the Home Depot and Target, either located on Exterior St or River Ave, but the boundary unfortunately doesn't include the shopping area.
Unfortunately, the boundary for the Phase 3 Expansion doesn't include the Bronx Terminal Market shopping area. I think this is very short-sighted. I live in CB10 and it would be so much more convenient to access the Home Depot, Target, and other stores if there was a citibike station nearby. I think it's important to add a citibike station near the shopping center or at least across the street in the park.
