NYC DOT published the proposed rule in the City Record, NYC Rules Website, and NYC DOT’s website. 

We have now entered into the public comment and hearing period.  Members of the public may submit their comments from May 4th to June 9th through the following methods:

  • Website: You can submit comments to DOT through the NYC rules website at http://rules.cityofnewyork.us (this is a general website—you are only able to submit a comment on the specific rule’s webpage which will be available on May 4th)
  • Email: You can email comments to rules@dot.nyc.gov.
  • Mail: You can mail comments to Stephen Solecki, Deputy Director, Freight Corridor Initiatives & Operations, New York City Department of Transportation, 55 Water Street, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10041.
  • Fax: You can fax comments to Stephen Solecki at (212) 839-9685.

If you would like to testify at the hearing, please email your name and affiliation (if applicable) to rules@dot.nyc.gov by June 8th.

NYC DOT will not respond to direct comments or questions outside of the formal method during this period – however, if you have inquiries related to process or general nature of the rules, please feel free to respond to this email
