Emailed Suggestion - Hello, I would like to recommend a citibike docking station under the 40th street train station. Sunnyside is an up and coming neighborhood and I think we could really use a citibike bike share network in our area. We have a wonderful protected bike lane right on 43rd ave. There is also LaGuardia community college about 15 mins walking distance which also has a citibike dock. Thank you for hearing my suggestion. I hope to see a citibike dock in Sunnyside soon! Thanks

Emailed Suggestion I am an annual member and a resident of Sunnyside. Currently I need to walk 11 blocks to the nearest dock, and so it is unreasonable for me to use it as a way from point A to B, especially if I am planning on going to any other location in Queens aside from the areas that are gentrifying and trendy (LIC, Astoria, Ridgewood). I can only currently use it as a means for recreation. I ask that you consider to further expand the service into Queens so that I and others can use the service more often. If this were the case, I would be more inclined to renew my membership in the future, but I am currently unsure if it will be worth it in the future.
closest train is Hunters Point 25 Minute walk, No stores, close to Silver Cup Studio, Green Point Av bridge, 59th Street Bridge etc. Everyone in the area talks about it but we didnt know how to request a location. THank you for your consideration

Narrow sidewalk and bus stop at this location (no bus shelter). 4* Street is the main North South route to get from Sunnyside to Astoria, Stop 'n' Shop supermarket and BJ's large location, and other stores. There is a middle school under construction on 48 Street and Barnett Avenue, which will increase population and take out even more parking. Our relatively quiet, low density walkable neighborhood is gradually being subverted to serve needs of one select group, besides real estate developers, and that is bicycle riders. Some of us actually live here and are not interested in becoming somebody's ideal dream of how we should be.
