The park has good space for a dock
Adjacent to the bus shelter or on the sidewalk next to the park
Adjacent to the horticultural area for the park. It would be near the park, the school and the bus stop along with Amalgamated.
In front of Classic Playground
A docking station at the entrance to the park bike trail
Place a docking station either in the triangle on the reservoir side of Goulden and Sedgwick or in one of the parking medians. Sedgwick is also clearly wide enough to support protected bike lanes without impacting parking!
There are several spots on this corner which is adjacent to the playground and on a main thoroughfare which would be appropriate for a docking station. Plus a bike lane to get there without being killed.
There is a large expanse of public ROW that would have lots of room for a docking station on the overhang over the Deegan which is adjacent to Albany Crescent
Traffic island near Bailey Avenue which is one of the central business corridors. Also please put a bike lane on Bailey Avenue to make it safer!
This is one of the main entrances to Van Cortlandt Park and is a community board priority to improve. It is open 24 hours and would be very appropriate for a dock since it is the closest entrance to the Putnam Bike trail and a popular entrance to people attending events at the golf house or lake.
