This feedback map is for the 2023 Brooklyn Citi Bike expansion, which focuses on Brooklyn Community Boards 14 and 17. Neighborhoods in this area include Prospect Park South, East Flatbush. Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, you can also email your suggestions us at bikeshare@dot.nyc.gov.

NOTE: For information regarding the 2022 expansion of Citi Bike into Brooklyn (which covers Community Boards 3, 5, 8, 9, 16), please note that stations are slated to be installed over the next few weeks/months.

Good Location for a Citi Bike Station

Cortelyou Rd - Marlborough Rd - East 16 St

Making Citi Bike to train connections would be immensely helpful. Not only does it help people who want to use both modes, but it also helps people meet up with others who live near each other but along parallel train lines that don't have good bus service between them.

Station (and free memberships) for family shelter + other multi-story housing.

Cortelyou Rd - East 21 St - Flatbush Ave

A bike share station is needed to help neighbors access the Flatbush Ave commercial area and the bus/dollar vans on Flatbush Ave. Placing stations on the east/west streets would help. Cortelyou and Beverley are key corridors.

The many neighbors would appreciate access to a bicycle dock in this location, rather than dedicating all of the curb space for a handful of people to park their cars for free.

This area has significant issues with parking - especially with 4 days of alternate parking. Additional City Bikes will further limit parking in this area.

This area already has a difficult time with parking availability - please do not minimize parking any further.

There is already a very hard time finding parking in all of these areas. Additional City Bikes will create a shortage of parking spaces.
