No to bikes
Sidewalks too narrow and the streets are too narrow. Not suitable
CitiBike will only exacerbate the congestion and parking issues in the area due to the 34th OS. There is already an abundance of bikers- most of which are using the bikes illegally. Additionally, CitiBike proponents claim that this will help minorities/those without the money for a car to move around. However, CitiBikes are initially pricey (deposits) and require that people actually have bank or credit cards.
Great for NYCDEP Employees to have another option for commuting to work
It should be on corner of 92 & 34 avenue. There is already a painted white section on the north eastern corner where it could go. Right now cars often make a quick right turn on to 34 despite it - this would also make street safer.
Great spot for a bike share station - lots of businesses & residences. Should be in the street.
Right out side of Elmhurst library on the street would be a great spot. Citibikes should always be outside every library & cultural institution in the neighborhood .
Great location for Citi Bike expansion. Open Streets has made the neighborhood safer, quieter, and gotten people out of their cars. It would be wonderful to have an additional option to get around.
