NYC DOT held its second community workshop at the Silent Barn on Bushwick Ave on May 9th, 2015. Attendees participated by idenitfying difficult streets and intersections for biking and proposing their own community bike network.

Representatives from NYC DOT and the office of Councilmember Espinal visited the Puerto Rican Schwinn Club, a bike-enthusiast club that's called Bushwick home since the 1970's, to involve their members in the process to improve the cycling network in the neighborhood.
