Connectivity to the Ferry. This comment is specifically in reference to making a connection from the Q22 to the ferry at 108th Street. When the ferry is put back in service in 2017, a Q22 bus stop should be added at the ferry pier to allow people to connect from the ferry to the bus without having to walk to Rockaway Beach Boulevard.

There should be a train that goes directly to Rockaway Beach instead of going to Broad Channel and waiting for the S train; an example would be the H train.

There could be less bus stops, i.e stops every 5 blocks. - More buses should come into Rockaway. For example, the Q21 line could be brought back into Rockaway and alleviate crowding on other Rockaway bound buses, particularly the Q52 and Q53. - The Q52 bus line should be extended to Mott Ave to alleviate overcrowding on the Q22. - There can be double buses or extended buses so that there is space for everyone on the bus and less crowding. - There should be increased busing where the train doesn't stop, particularly between 90th to 67th. - There should be more frequent trains and buses so that missing a bus or train doesn't lead to a long wait. - There should be a better alignment of the schedules for the Shuttle and A train so that there is less of a wait at Broad Channel. - The buses should be more accessible to senior citizens and those with disabilities. This can be done by having more folding seats and a ramp that actually slopes downward and to the ground on buses. Extending the buses will also provide more space for people with disabilities. - Increase the number of amenities in Rockaway, particularly hospitals, medical clinics, and more local businesses. - Provide the Rockaways with a mall and a movie theater, and stop the increase of nursing homes and homeless shelters.

Why is the A train SO SLOW? It crawls all the way to Manhattan. It would actually not be such a bad commute if the train ran at normal speed. No other subway lines run at such a slow speed. Please fix whatever the problems are on this line so that the commute to Manhattan can be more reasonable. Lack of reliable transportation is the main reason people don't want to move to Rockaway.

Evening QM15 buses (after 7:30 PM when QM16/17 buses are no longer running) going to the Far Rockaway Bus Depot should drop off passengers going to Rockaways here instead of dumping us off at Howard Beach. This is critical especially during the winter months. It is heartless to refuse to drop off people in Rockaway when you are going there anyway. The bus driver should announce at the last stop whether he/she is going to Rockaway and let those who need to go there stay on the bus and be dropped off here. Thanks. Please listen. This is an easy thing to do.
