Express "A" Train by-passing Brooklyn during rush hours to speed up the commute and eliminate the chaos and overcrowded train during those times
Bring Back the Ferry Service at Beach 108 St and Beach Channel Dr. along with parking lot across the street to be used for Ferry Parking.
Beach 73 to Beach 84 - center median needed. Needs to be one lane in both directions to minimize reckless driving.
Center median on Rockaway Beach Blvd. (like the one spanning from Beach 67 to Beach 73) is needed spanning from Beach 73 to Beach 84 to control traffic pattern, speed, reckless driving and the ability for residents/families with children to cross safely. The current state is absolute mayhem (vehicles using it as a 4 lane highway with 2 cars in each direction which there is not room for. Simply painting lines will not solve this problem as most vehicles drive right over the lines (esp. dollar vans that think rules don't apply to them) and not adhering to the rules of the road and safety issues this posses. We have multiples videos/pictures of almost head on collisions because the road is such a hazard. We need this addressed and implemented as part of the re-construction and repairing of the road in 2016.
It is ridiculous that a Sunday afternoon in the city be followed by a three hour commute back home. We need more transit options.
The whole street of Rockaway Beach Boulevard from beach 96 street down to Beach 72 is awful...a lot of 'pot-holes' the street needs to be re-paved,totally uneven NO yellow lines 'faded'
Street is very wide here leading to unsafe speed. Sharrows should be upgraded to proper bike lane.
Bike entrance to Cross Bay Bridge is very hard to find
Heard at Edgemere 10/24 public mtg: Elevator access needed at elevated train stations. Subway service hard to access for elderly, people with groceries and strollers, and those with disabilities
