Eastern Rockaway Access

A transportation study to improve access to jobs, services, retail, and the rest of the city.

Thank you to those who spoke with NYCDOT on Sunday, November 22nd. Ambassadors gave out 138 flyers promoting this feedback portal and recorded approximately 60 comments about transportation challenges in the Eastern Rockaways. Your input will help guide our resources and data collection moving forward!

NYCDOT Ambassadors will be out and about this Sunday, November 22nd, to glean input from Eastern Rockaways residents about their transportation challenges.

After visiting neighborhood churches in the morning, DOT Ambassadors can be found at:

Key Food 2020 New Haven Ave 3:30pm to 6pm

Not able to stop by then? Do not fear: This is not the extent of our neighborhood outreach, but just one event of a multi-event outreach process. In fact, next Wednesday, November 25th, NYCDOT Ambassadors can be found at grocery stores throughout the Eastern Rockaways to hear from residents en route to pick up their Thanksgiving staples. More details about that will be posted soon!
