Eastern Rockaway Access

A transportation study to improve access to jobs, services, retail, and the rest of the city.

Thank you to all those who attended the first Access to Opportunity public workshop on Tuesday, December 15th at Challenge Prep Charter School. Council Member Donovan Richards introduced the event, where we received productive community input about transportation challenges in the Eastern Rockaways. Representatives from several other city agencies also attended to discuss their projects within the study area and answer questions. We will update you about next steps for the Access to Opportunity study in early January -- best wishes for the holidays in the meantime!
