This corridor will close gaps in cycling routes from Long Island City to Astoria to East Elmhurst to Fort Totten. Running parallel to the Long Island Sound, this route will improve transportation options throughout New York City's most diverse borough and enhance park access for Queens neighborhoods with limited green space. Connecting these neighborhoods with an active transportation network will particularly benefit Queens residents living within much of the planning area who are underserved by public transit access.

Others have spoken a great deal about this, but getting off the pulaski bridge onto the bikepath here is really tricky. It involves crossing several intersecting lanes of traffic without really any bike paths — i think you're supposed to get off your bike and walk across 3 cross walks (but many don't, contributing to the chaos)
Here the 2-way Crescent St. bikepath transitions to 1 way (southbound) so when I'm traveling north (taking my two daughters to PS 85Q on our cargo bike), I have to cut over a block to 26th St., which means crossing the very busy Hoyt street without a light. It would be AMAZING if the Crescent St bikepath continued in both directions north of Hoyt Ave. I understand theser things are never easy; the best way to do this would be to remove parking on Crescent on the east side. I imagine the people on that block of Crescent wouldn't love that. But man it would make this bike path so much safer and more usable.
Bridge that descends by Northern Blvd to Prince: create a direct crossing alternative to cross the bridge without the dangerous crossing. (Spanish: PUENTE QUE BAJA X NORTHERN BLVA A PRINCE: HACER UNA ALTERNATIVA DE CRUCE DIRECTO PARA CRUZAR EL PUENTE SIN EL CRUCE PELIGROSO)
7.3 is the easiest to improve (on Roosevelt). (Spanish: 7.3 es la más fácil de mejorar (en Roosevelt))
7.2 is not the best because it goes through 34th and does not connect well to the entrance—it needs to go up through CitiField to Northern and exit connected by Northern (Spanish: 7.2 no es la mejor porque pasa por la 34 y no alimenta bien a la entrada—tiene que subir por CitiField hasta Northern y salir conducida por Northern)
LaGuardia to Home Depot, bridge on 34th to College Point would be very important as a commuting route. (Spanish: La Guardia a Home Depot, puente en la 34 a College Point sería muy importante como ruta de commute.)
Roosevelt is the shortest and best route to travel, less recreational.
Roosevelt Ave current safest option - room for improvement.
Currently a dangerous intersection; not a lot of cars stop.
