Projects & Initiatives Site Policy

This feedback map is for suggesting parking for the e-scooter share pilot taking place in East Bronx. This area covers Bronx Community Boards 9, 10, 11, and 12. Neighborhoods in this area include Soundview, Throggs Neck, Morris Park, Williamsbridge, and Wakefield.

Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin. Soundview Houses. Scooters here would be very useful to reach Soundview-Morrison station and other parts of the neighborhood.

Soundview Ave - Deadend - Horizon Lane

Soundview Avenue NYC Ferry stop. Put these parking spots to better use. This location is just clear of where people walk out of the park after disembarking but close enough to the dock to quickly grab a scooter.

Castle Hill Houses, plenty of parking here, repurpose a space. If not, try across the street by the community center.

Story Ave - Taylor Ave - Thieriot Ave

Good location on Story Avenue between Taylor Avenue and Thieriot Avenue by the park. Dense area and lots of demand for trips to the nearest subway stations which are a long walk or a bus ride away.

Plenty of room on this plaza. Shops nearby and lots of residents.

Morrison Ave - Harrod Pl - Westchester Ave

The primary train station for many people that live along Soundview Avenue. Lots of shops and a dense population. Plaza here On Morrison Ave near the bank might be a good choice, or one of the extended plazas under the subway station.

Great location under the St Lawrence Ave subway station. Lots of residents and shops nearby.

Hugh J Grant Circle - Virginia Ave - Westchester Ave

Across the street from the Parkchester subway station. Huge demand for trips to and from here from areas just too far to reasonably walk. Shops and dense population nearby too.

Allows accessibility to the park , food , and bx 8 bus around the block
