Projects & Initiatives Site Policy

This feedback map is for suggesting parking for the e-scooter share pilot taking place in East Bronx. This area covers Bronx Community Boards 9, 10, 11, and 12. Neighborhoods in this area include Soundview, Throggs Neck, Morris Park, Williamsbridge, and Wakefield.

Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin. Bruckner Boulevard - Bruckner Expressway Et 8 A Sb - Bruckner Boulevard

Last or First stop, #6 Pelham Station Line. Multiple possible locations around this Hub.

Stillwell Ave - Pelham Parkway North - Pelham Parkway

The sidewalk here was recently expanded and connects to the greenway leading to the Pelham Parkway 5 station and can connect to the pathway that leads to the Pelham Bay 6 train as well. Also, this is a popular area for hospital and nursing home workers since this is near where the 12 bus stops.

White Plains Rd - Birchall Ave - Unionport Rd

Entrance to Bronx Park, with access to the Greenway. This will also connect with the proposed protected bike lanes on Bronxdale Ave.

Bronx Park East - Waring Ave - Mace Ave

There should be scooter parking in the vicinity of this park entrance. There is not only the Bronx River Greenway connection, but it is not far from the east entrance of the New York Botanical Garden.

Esplanade - Pelham Parkway North - Astor Ave

Every subway station within the pilot area should be complemented with scooter parking. There's ample space in front of the Pelham Parkway (5) station house for scooter parking. In addition, scooter parking at this location would provide a connection to the Pelham Parkway Greenway, and to the 'bike friendly route' Laconia Ave.
