Projects & Initiatives Site Policy

This feedback map is for suggesting parking for the e-scooter share pilot taking place in eastern Queens. This area covers Queens Community Boards 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13. Neighborhoods in this area include Flushing, Kew Gardens Hills, and Jamaica.

Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, you can also email your suggestions to us at scooter.share@dot.nyc.gov.

Highland Ave - Parsons Boulevard - 162 St

Good area for scooter parking as Hillcrest High School is here and the Parsons Blvd subway station is nearby. A parking location here on Highland is would be more convenient and closer to the school than the nearest corral on 88th Av and Parsons Blvd.

Highland Ave - 162 St - 164 St

I think Highland Av and 164th St is good parking spot because of how many points of interests are nearby and it's a pretty busy intersections. A big apartment complex is here, as well as a church. A daycare center, a second church, Hillcrest high school and a park are also a block away from here. The bus stop at this corner too.

Great amount of space along this strip next to the park, and on a central street and near public transport

Main St - 72 Rd - 72 Drive

Having it on Haym Square (the side not next to the library) would be amazing. The sidewalk is very wide and there would still be room to walk on it with parking next to it. It's on a central street (Main St.). Very few people walk on this little strip of sidewalk anyway.

Main St - Jewel Ave - 70 Ave

Nearby central streets (Main st./Jewel Ave) and transit options (Q64, Q44). Streets are very wide and have lots of space for scooter parking.

This would be a poor location for scooter parking. Sidewalk is narrow and pedestrians cross streets at this point

The sidewalk area in this area is already congested. This would be a poor location for scotter parking.

Narrow sidewalk , poorly parked scooters blocking kids going to school. Scooter always knocked to the ground.
