This is a bus stop area and a road heavily used to connect with Jewel Ave to cross the park toward Grand Central entrance. Also heavily used pedestrian area for thos who walk to Queens Blvd. Why not place it across the street on the Park side as opposed to the area where people congregate to get the bus

This is a major intersection with high traffic volume both to and from the Van Wyck Exp., left/right turns on to Jewel Ave heading toward Main Street or in the opposite direction to cross the Park, get to Grand Central parkway East and West and Queens Blvd. It is also a school pick up and drop off point.

The comment was made so that the scooter might be used for the Park. Well, place the scooters in Flushing Meadows Park. There is plenty of room across the street heading west on 69th Road over the Van Wyck Expy overpass until you find yourself in an area where there is lots of grass, open areas and Flushing Meadow Lake Drive which is perfect for setting up the E-Scooter station. Then you are already there to ride around Meadow Lake and the rest of Flushing Meadows Park. There is absolutely no reason to place E-Scooters near apartments and a congested area for parking as it is. That corner has its own issues with vehicles turning towards the ramp heading North to the Van Wyck, West towards Queens Blvd. and the Grand Central, and then North or South to the Airports and then a suggested E-Scooter on a corner? Additionally, there are buses, emergency vehicles, trucks, taxis, etc. using that area 24 hours a day without adding E-scooters to the mix. It is also a safety factor with all the potential of fires from the batteries of E-Scooters. That area needs a speed camera or a red light camera for safety reason. The residents of the apartments that border the suggested E-scooter placement would rather walk to the park, rent the scooters and then use them within the park. That is both a more efficient and would probably raise more revenue. Additionally, providing parking within the park near the E-scooters is an incentive to the potential renters and a plus to the neighborhood that suffers from limited parking spaces.

The corner of 68th Drive and 136th Street is right in the middle of a Co-op and a 4-way traffic nightmare with vehicles attempting to bypass traffic on Jewel Ave. everyday and making their way to the ramp leading to Van Wyck heading North. That is the worse idea anyone could have. We need a traffic light there to ease the traffic and allow our residents the ability to cross the street. That's where the money should have been better spent on researching an incentive. as well as needing speed bumps and another traffic light on 138th Street on 68th Drive. Forget the E Scooters anywhere near the Co-ops. They can be placed in the Park nearby.

Good place for scooter parking, as people getting off from the 7 train can use scooters as an additional option for their last mile run. It would be completely pointless if this scooter pilot are not accessible by commuters connection with/from the 7 train.

Special parking zone should be included at the Forest Hills-71 AV at 108th St/ 71st Av station to improve last mile connections from the subway to the transit desert that this area covers. The land barrier of Flushing Meadows makes it difficult to access the subway, as Jewel AV is the Main Street crossing through the middle of the park. The steep grade up Jewel makes cycling difficult for those that are inexperienced and not able bodied. Provides a feasible mode of car free transportation other than the Q64 bus. It also Also can be adopted to support trips from the subway to Queens College
