164 St - 82 Rd - Grand Central Parkway
The 164th St and 89th Ave conventional bike lanes should be upgraded to protected bike lanes. 164th St is very wide for a majority of it's length and a protected bike lane would create a safe connection between Downtown Jamaica and Kissena Park/Flushing where the Eastern Queens greenway is being redone. The one-way 89th Ave conventional bike lane could become a two-way protected lane by removing parking on one side of the street, creating a safe east-west bike route through Downtown Jamaica, which currently has very limited bike connections.

Hillside Ave - Queens Boulevard - 139 St
Now that the Queens Blvd protected bike lane has been extended all the way to Hillside Avenue, there needs to be a neighborhood bike network in Jamaica with connections to other areas in SE Queens. Streets parallel to Hillside and Jamaica Aves such as 89th Ave and 87th Av/Rd should become upgraded to accommodate bike lanes since Hillside and Jamaica Aves are too dangerous being heavily used by buses and trucks. More north-south routes could be created: the 164th St bike lane could be extended further south, and bike lanes could be added on 150th St, 160th St, Guy R Brewer Blvd, 168th St, Utopia/Homelawn, and/or Midland Pkwy.

164 St - 86 Rd - Highland Ave
With the incoming Shared E-Scooter pilot, the bike network in Jamaica should be expanded as well, giving cyclists safe options traveling to and from the area other than just Parsons Blvd. The 164th St bike lanes should be extended further south to Highland Avenue and then west along Highland Avenue to Parsons Blvd. This is because 164th St and Highland is a more direct route to Downtown Jamaica and isn't as narrow, steep, nor has as many curves as Parsons. This also gives a second north-south bike route option to Downtown Jamaica while creating new connections as Highland Avenue has many residential buildings, Captain Tilly Park, Hillcrest High School, and ends a few feet away from the intersection of Parsons and Hillside at the F subway station.

164 St - Goethals Ave - 82 Rd
The wide sidewalk in front of the Pavilion on 164th St is a great location for scooter parking! The Q65 is always packed with nurses, patients, and visitors going to/from Queens hospital. This gives them another option to get to/from hospital.

Van Wyck Expressway - Van Wyck Expressway Exit 5 Sb - Van Wyck Expwy Sb En Queens Blvd
New wide sidewalk/overpass right near Jamaica Hospital, on the corner of Jamaica. Ave and Van Wyck. Good spot for parking eScooters. There is a long walk between bus stops and subway stations.
