To much traffic and foot traffic.
To much traffic and foot traffic.
No E-Scooter parking on any street here in Laurelton Queens. To much traffic and pedestrians walking and not crossing at the crosswalk. This will be a disaster and will cause people to die.
I can't believe with all the debt we have and how Laurelton Queens has now become a dumping ground for felons, section eight families, mentally ill and shelter/homeless people. Why would we want scooters around here!!!! Crime has risen over 100%. We don't want any scooters in our neighborhood all it will be used for is crime against hard working homeowners.
I would NOT like to see e-scooter parking anywhere on Merrick Blvd nor surrounding residential streets as this area is already congested with cars and pedestrians. This would create a safety hazard particularly for kids and seniors, including taking up already limited street and sidewalk spaces. E-scooters are also very dangerous and prone to accidents including fire and will encourage theft of such.
I recommend scooters NOT be placed on Merrick Boulevard..starting from Springfield Blvd to Laurelton Parkway.
Not suitable for scooter parking - too much foot traffic and sidewalk too narrow
This area is next to a public school ..double parking is already a major issue in this area. Merrick blvd has enough atvs and illegal scooters that go unchecked ..Does one need a drivers lic. to use these bikes if not one should be required for insurance purposes.who has the right of way ..are they treated like pedestrians[having the right of way}..
Great spot for the local community
Nice amount of open space on the sidewalk. Perfect for a scooter parking area, plus easy access to bike lanes one block away.
Scooter to the park
