This is right next to a transit hub for buses, next to the Central Queens library, the 169th Street subway, and Parsons Blvd subway. Even taking away two parking spots will allow an alternative access to people who constantly use one of the most widely used libraries in the WORLD, a center of community activities. This street is congested with traffic while at the same time being a major area which children use to go to the library. It is also next to a recently built mosque which will allow access to senior people to pray
Near 179th street subway, the spot is always illegally occupied even though the sign is no stopping any time. Multiple bus lines, supermarkets, and grocery stores nearby.
Please add a spot here, near the 179th Street subway, countless bus stops that serve as transfer for people traveling further east, barbershops, grocery stores, and supermarkets. This spot is currently allocated to ride shares but this area has little to no ride share traffic and this convenient spot near the subway for scooters should be given more priority.
This is near a major subway at 169th Street, a transfer hub for multiple buses for people going further east in Queens, near multiple extremely busy supermarkets, grocery stores, and mid-rise apartment buildings. It's also nearby a dedicated bicycle lane near 164th Street which connects to Fresh Meadows in the north.
This is near multiple big retail stores, local DMV, grocery stores, bus stops, and a gym. Adding a spot here will reduce congestion on Jamaica Avenue by providing alternative mode of transport to people. Jamaica Ave throughway a few blocks away is already a bus and bicycle through road, this is a perfect spot for people to connect to Jamaica Center E & J line along with 169th Street subway station on Hillside Ave.
This is near two banks, laundry, supermarket, pharmacy, barbershop, deli, and multiple bus stops connecting 179th street subway to eastern queens and Floral Park. This spot is currently allocated to ride share parkings but this area has little to no ride share traffic and the spot is always occupied illegally by private vehicles.
