Projects & Initiatives Site Policy

This feedback map is for suggesting parking for the e-scooter share pilot taking place in eastern Queens. This area covers Queens Community Boards 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13. Neighborhoods in this area include Flushing, Kew Gardens Hills, and Jamaica.

Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin. This area become heavily congested when children are being dropped off and picked up. This would just add more congestion. This is not a good place to add scooters, or anything of the sort.

Main St - Roosevelt Ave - 40 Rd

If this will be a dockless pilot, having any kind of parking free floating or mandatory corral zones will be a bad idea in this intersection. People are walking out of subway stations which recently have been renovated, all while there are customers entering storefronts and bus riders waiting to go home. It will create too much chaos.

Sanford Ave - Union St - Bowne St

Sanford Ave has a bike lane to use and also this area by the school has a wider sidewalk where there's space for scooters.
