Location Not Suitable for Scooter Parking Pin
Location Not Suitable for Scooter Parking
Union St - 39 Ave - Roosevelt Ave

This a pretty poor location to put scooters as there's constantly buses leaving downtown Flushing through Roosevelt Ave as well as buses turning into Roosevelt through Union Street. There's often illegal parking, which has created a lot of congestion along Roosevelt. There's also no suitable and safe space for scooters to be placed.

N & S Conduit Blvd is a death trap in its current form. Not safe for scooter riders

Baisley Boulevard - 155 St - 157 St

Baisley Pond Park is one of SE Queens' greatest open spaces. Opening up scooter share opportunities would allow even more residents to access without a car. This parking field can easily convert 1-2 spaces to accomodate 10-20 scooters

Rochdale Village along Guy R Brewer Blvd has so much untapped potential for multimodal transport and yet is stuck with the Far Rockaway buses which get stuck in traffic. Adding a scooter station would open up greater access to Baisley Pond Park and Downtown Jamaica

The north side of the park has enough space to accomodate a scooter station.

There is a large space in front of the court building that can easily accomodate a scooter station. Its close to the Sutphin Blvd F station too

Hillside Ave - 153 St - Parsons Boulevard

Hillside is not a safe street for biking or scooter traffic. Perhaps establishing a station a block away would be safer

Lot of bus and subway commuters wait here. Adding a scooter station here would give people alternatives to get home to East and South Queens when the buses are held up in traffic

Every block of downtown Flushing should have scooter parking
