too residential
busy intersection, to many accidents
to dark at night, not safe
subject to accidents
too residential
This area become heavily congested when children are being dropped off and picked up. This would just add more congestion. This is not a good place to add scooters, or anything of the sort.
Scooters will add to congestion and the increase of safety challenges
If this will be a dockless pilot, having any kind of parking free floating or mandatory corral zones will be a bad idea in this intersection. People are walking out of subway stations which recently have been renovated, all while there are customers entering storefronts and bus riders waiting to go home. It will create too much chaos.
Sanford Ave has a bike lane to use and also this area by the school has a wider sidewalk where there's space for scooters.
This a pretty poor location to put scooters as there's constantly buses leaving downtown Flushing through Roosevelt Ave as well as buses turning into Roosevelt through Union Street. There's often illegal parking, which has created a lot of congestion along Roosevelt. There's also no suitable and safe space for scooters to be placed.
