Projects & Initiatives Site Policy

This feedback map is for suggesting parking for the shared e-scooter program taking place in eastern Queens. This area covers Queens Community Boards 7, 8, 11, and 12. Neighborhoods in this area include Flushing, Kew Gardens Hills, and Jamaica.

Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin. Kissena Boulevard - 45 Ave - Geranium Ave

The bus stops on 45th avenue and Kissena are being removed as part of the Queens bus redesign. It would be good to replace the bus stop standing zones with docks.

Roosevelt Ave - Prince St - Main St

There should be scooter parking as soon in proximity to 7 train so people can use those as an alternative to the buses/taxis. Right now taxis stand on the corner of roosevelt avenue on both sides

Highland Ave - 165 St - Upland Parkway

Highland Avenue and 165th Street is a great location for scooter parking as it is in front of Captain Tilly, a huge neighborhood park with a pond and playground. There are also at least five apartments buildings within a 2-block radius of here.

162 St - 86 Crescent - Highland Ave

Highland Avenue and 162nd Street is a great location for scooter parking because it tends to get very busy throughout the day as there is a huge apartment building, two churches, and an afterschool/daycare center at this intersection. Hillcrest High School is also one block over from here.
