Please do not put e-scooters on this street corner! This section is extremely congested with cars and foot traffic as it is. All this traffic congestion already makes it unsafe for people on scooters.
Still need more corrals on Hillside Av east of Parsons Blvd. 164th St would be a good location because it is a major thoroughfare, has a public school and the Jamaica Main Post Office.
Good location: Busy intersection with a church, two big apartment buildings, and centered between a daycare center (a block west) and Captain Tilly Park (a block east). The NE corner by the Q65 bus stop or the NW corner on Highland Av would be great.
Great location. Near bus, schools and churches.
Not a good area
WHY? It looks and makes Rochdale Village a mess
There are numerous scooters left all over the sidewalk and leaning up on people’s cars
This is a busy bus route along with main parking lots for the residents in the co-op apartments. These scooters creat hazards for drivers, pedestrians and passengers
The scooters bike placed randomly is an eyesore. It needs to be stationed like the citibikes. Bikes are left in Rochdale which is private property. Ppl ride the bikes on side walks.
Scooters have been left in the passage and sidewalk on side of building 14. This has been very difficult to navigate with my wheelchair.
