A bike station in front of supermarket parking lot is a perfect spot. Giving people a bicycle option for getting to 3rd Ave would help businesses. Difficult parking is a turn-off. Could probably get 10 bicycle parking spots for every 1 car space.

As a resident who walks along this part of 5th daily , this area is already congested especially with large school groups, and the school buses that park in the bus stops, including the B63 and B64 around the corner. Citi Bike users who want to travel to the Alpine can walk a block or two. Pedestrians are being crowded out of side walks especially along 5th Avenue and along Bay Ridge Avenue between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue with the garbage cans on sidewalks and with the expansion of the grocery store foot print, tamale trucks. Will also make suggestion for a more suitable space from my perspective as a local area resident who walks these streets daily.

Great central location in Bay Ridge. A straight shot from here to the Sunset Park express ferry for commuters.
