Why in the Lord's name put a Citibike dock here??? A tourist stop will not mean daily activity on a quiet isolated block. Waste of money, NYC.

Not a safe intersection for loading/unloading bikes. Do not put Citi bike dock here,
If a CityBike dock were placed here, it should be inside the park, purely for safety reasons. There are two bus stops already at this location, plus a frequently used crosswalk to the park. Please consider that this intersection is at the bottom of a sloped road coming off a curve at the top. There is already concern about drivers coming down regardless of speed cameras, and the added diversion of bikes being loaded/unloaded to the dock added to bus loading/pedestrian crossing would make the intersection more hazardous. The safer alternative would be to place the dock in the park, or parkside.
