right on the highway should be fine for these dangerous lawless bikes
Put one right in the middle of this pond because citibikes are horrible and nobody should be able to ride one recklessly like the way they do endangering pedestrians and traffic.
I agree -- a docking station needed to access the ferry! Traveling from Sunset Park/43rd Street & 8th area, which also needs a docking station.
I also agree that a docking station near the 9th Avenue D train station makes sense. I propose it to be on the triangular park between 38th and 39th Street, without interfering with street parking.
Please do not put a station at this location--quiet residential street with unique architectural character and very scant parking already. We are already inundated by Revel and unauthorized scooter parking, plus multiple Fresh Direct trucks and for-hire vehicles idling.
Prospect Avenue at Terrace Place is the wrong location for a bike station because it is a major traffic route, heavy residential area, and very tight parking already so cannot afford to lose more spaces--please no!
Under the Prospect Expressway overpass ramp on Prospect Avenue at Greenwood is a perfect location, near the subway entrance and lots of unused sidewalk space. No loss of street parking would be required.
This is a terrible location for a station, as Seeley Street is a narrow two-way street and the only through-route from PPSS to McDonald Ave., and commercial route, too. Also a heavy residential area with already extremely limited parking.
a place near leif erikson park would be nice so people could go to and from there
