Good Citi Bike Station location
Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
Prospect Park Southwest - 11 Ave - 16 St

This spot is already open, and would not take up either sidewalk or active street space.

Parade Pl - Woodruff Ave - Crooke Ave

This would be a great place for a citiBike station!! Many people like to bike through the park and need a place to leave their citiBike. While the city is at, they need to improve bike lanes around the Parade Ground! THANK YOU

Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
Park Circle - Prospect Park Southwest - Ocean Parkway

Machate Circle right by the park is an excellent spot for a citibike station that could serve people going to the park as well as both the Windsor Terrace and Prospect Park South neighborhoods. It's a central location where people come together and there is plenty of room to install a station without taking away parking spots.

Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
Ft Hamilton Parkway - East 5 St - East 4 St

Right by the subway station, playground/recreation area, across the street from PS 130 and the library is an ideal spot for a citibike station and there is space either in the median or next to the dog run area to put one in without displacing parking spots.

Not suitable for Citi Bike Station
Location Not Suitable for Citi Bike Station
6 Ave - 19 St - 20 St

This would not be a good location for citibikes due to the 2-way traffic on 20th st that often includes heavy trucks. In addition, the intersection of 20th/6th ave is home to restaurants that are able to survive because of outdoor seating. A citibike location would negatively impact these restaurants.

Any citibike site around the coned station would make a lot of sense. The station is a bit of an eyesore and is often a trash magnet. A citibike station (paired w/a trash can) would activate the sidewalk space and would bring welcomed foot traffic to this block.

At the subway can help people get to/from the train. Plenty of space to place dock without removing parking and without impeding foot traffic.

Greenwood Ave Pedestrian Ovps - Prospect Ave - Bike Path

Safe place with plenty of space to put dock without removing parking spaces or impeding foot traffic.

Prospect Park Southwest - Park Circle Bike Path - Park Circle

The best place would be in the triangle at the entrance to the park, but bc of how the boundary is drawn a marker cannot be placed there. Within this general area is great, however, with proximity to the park, and there is sufficient space to place a dock where it will not inhibit foot traffic and will not remove parking spaces.
