On 7th; same side as nursery
Extra wide space on this side of the street to fit a station, can lead directly to Ocean Pkwy bike path which leads to Prospect Park, also across the street from a middle school
There is a grocery store, a school, a nursery, several restaurants and a good amount of local business here. It is great for a citibike station.
This corner, south side of 41st Street on the park side would be a great place for a Citibike spot. It will not interfere with local businesses and provides great access to the park.
This side of the 5th Ave, between 41st and 40th Street is not a good place for a Citibike site. There are many local businesses using the street parking spots for their outdoor dining.
South East corner of 6th Ave and 45th St is a good spot of a bike dock. Removed from the heavy pedestrian and car traffic on 6th and 44th. Could be on 6th Ave itself or around the corner on 45th. Still close to the park, schools, and shopping. Flat.
4th Ave between 42nd and 43rd in front of the old courthouse is a perfect spot for a bike docking station. Close to schools, 5th Ave shopping and the park. Flat area, no shops on the block so usually there are no double parked trucks. Protected Bike lane is right there.
This is not a good place for a docking station ONLY insofar as it interferes with the Saturday Farmers Market. If the market relocates to a different spot this is a great place for a docking station.
This and all of the corners of the 5th Ave and 44th St intersection would be bad for a citibike docking area. Its unsafe. 44th street has heavy traffic and a lot of truck traffic. There is a bus stop on one corner, and there are often trucks double parked and unloading in front of the supermarket or the bodegas on 5th Ave. 5th Ave between 44th ad 45th has a lot of double parked cars in part because of the car service on the block. There are better areas in and around the park for a docking area.
Close to schools. Near a bike path.
