Near the train and along the park so it makes for good commuting.
Great spot! Right by park. Good Alternate to train. Busses are slow and unreliable along Amsterdam. Along the park so it's a safer ride uptown . Wide streets so safe for travel in both directions.
In the river would be the best spot.
Bike station outside the subway would be good.
A docking station at Broadway and a Nagle would centralize it in the Height/Inwood area.
I agree that this street and block is extremely dangerous for cyclists. The traffic coming off of the bridge is fast and scary and the frequent truck and bus traffic has led to a very uneven surface on the roadway.
Park entrance is perfect place to pick up a bike and ride through the park
This island is slated to be merged with the sidewalk and will have plenty of space and perfect location for bike stations, once the construction is done
Replace some of the rogue parking spaces here with a dock and lots more people would be able to access the Cloisters and the park without cars!
