Properly marked bike lane exists all the way up 20th ave for connection, and further connection to park to be able to ride along Greenway/Shore Blvd is ideal for parkgoers. Spacious area and calm enough that people can get bikes without needing to dock on Shore, which can be chaotic under normal traffic circumstances and has most areas along the road saved for parking.
Ample sidewalk room, located right outside very active shopping center that most residents in the area visit for groceries, laundry, pharmacy, gym, etc.
Very active park space, and clearly marked bike lanes already existing in the area. This is a great connection spot for Q100/Q101 passengers and isn't located directly outside of a residence.
There is already a bike path. Very convenient intersection that take Astorians to the subway station, to the Ferry via bike in few minutes!! It would be great and would enhance the area near to the De Marco Park as well.
Request for a station in Jackson Heights proper
Students would benefit from a station on this location.
This street already has a bike line and it would provide access to retail areas along Ditmars Blvd.
This has higher density residential building that would benefit from a Citi Bike station. This would allow residents to connect with the N,R,W lines at Ditmars Blvd.
A station near the Best Buy and Home Depot would greatly help users coming from western Astoria. The only way to reach this location is to dock at 43rd St and Broadway and then walk towards the area for at least 15 minutes.
