This feedback map is for Citi Bike Phase 3 expansion, which focuses the northern and eastern part of Queens Community Board 1, which includes neighborhoods like Ditmars-Steinway and Astoria Heights. Please read the "Feedback Map Instructions" page before adding comments to give our planners the most helpful feedback. Please add the markers/pins as close to an intersection as possible. If there is a marker/pin at your suggested intersection, please add another marker/pin.

Best location for the city bike station. Would appreciate it because we have many people here who can afford using a bike. Would also help make my life easier getting hope with another station outside of my house.

This would be a great location! We are very far from the train and it would make it so much easier to access the train and other great citi bike locations!! LET'S HOPE WE CAN GET IT VERY SOON!!!

Close enough to Station and Bus Stops (not too close to worsen congestion).

There's one existing station on Ditmars and Crescent. Additionally, this location is close to Bus Line. Stations should be spaced equitably for the community.

This area is open, the streets are wide enough for people to ride safety and not affect traffic or parking locations

45 St - Ditmars Boulevard - 23 Ave

Proximity to neighborhood shopping center and other businesses would make this an ideal place for a new station. But it should be placed on 45th street, so the station isn't blocked by the trucks offloading their cargo for Walgreens, which I often see happening on the Ditmars Blvd side.

20 Ave - 47 St - 48 St

This is a ideal location for three reasons: 1) it has heavy foot traffic because of the park and bus stop; 2) it's by an already established bike lane and 3) there is ample space to place a new station. Currently, for residents in this area the nearest station is by Ditmars Playground, which is a 15 minute walk.
