Queens Boulevard - Connector - Connector

There is an elevated median, crosswalk between the Jamaica-bound and Manhattan-bound lanes on the Queens B. There is ample space to put a docking station, and it puts them right on the bike lane.

A docking station on Ascan, right beside "Natural" - if not beside, then take the first parking spots on Ascan.

Giving up some street parking on ascan by Portofino makes the most sense for a docking station. It is far more suitable than the sidewalk in front of the Catholic Church across the street.

This location, although spacious, is not suitable for bike racks. The church has been a very vocal critic in the last few years of the bike lanes. Especially know that Father Sanchez is no longer in charge. There are better locations nearby that will support our goals while not awakening a very vocal opponent.

Place the docking station on the sidewalk next to the Chase bank windows. Be sure not to obstruct the pickup window at Starbucks. They don't really use it. But I would still avoid it.

A small docking station against the plaza college wall could work. Ideally, it would be great to put one on the median. The median is wide. However, given the upcoming Queens Boulevard capital plan, that may not be the best idea right now.

78 Crescent - Grand Central Parkway - Queens Boulevard

This area on the street is far too tight. Even if we were to eliminate parking spaces, it would be too dangerous for a pickup. The sidewalk, which can seem spacious, is part of the building's property, and the windows on the ground level are quite large. You also run the risk of obstructing access to the steps that take you to the plaza below.

Please avoid adding a docking station on the sidewalk or in the street that would interfere with buses/bus passengers etc. Buses not only stop to retrieve and drop off passengers, but they also linger there between shifts.

Place a docking station on 78th avenue against the brick wall of the Pharmacy at 116-65 Queens Boulevard.
