There is a carve-out on the street that would be perfect for a docking station.
There is a carve-out on the street that would be perfect for a docking station.
Placing a docking station on the street near the montessori school will be highly problematic. During drop off and pick the traffic on that dead end is a mess. And the corner outside the Physical Therapy spot is a bus stop for students attending PS 174. Placing the dock on the sidewalk on 67 between pretty woman and physical therapy is better.
Place the docking station on the sidewalk between 9808 67 and 6701 austin street.
The side of the CVS at 100-02 Queens Boulevard is the best place to put a docking station. Placing it on the street at the front of 100-02 Queens Boulevard could be problematic, as cars often block the Q60 bus stop so the bus at times has to stop near the front of 100-02.
The Q60 bus stop will be eliminated shortly. The space for the Jamaica-bound bus stop on Queens Boulevard should be repurposed for a docking station. The other corner will be problematic as it is a site that is open for development, and construction should be imminent.
Place a small docking station on the northeast corner next to 94-02 66th but on austin street. This would serve to provide daylighting and would address an issue of repeated parking violations on the corner. Cars always obstruct the crossing and park beyond the corner.
This area is established as a loading zone. An on-street bike rack on the corner of 66th and austin (northeast corner). The northwest corner is the site of repeated Time warner repairs to lines on that corner).
One way street, Ample space, and near bike lanes.
At the 63rd Drive - Rego Park Center- subway station.
I’d like to see it near the 67th Ave train station.
