It is close to the subway station
There's a lot of sidewalk space and it's by the subway
Please Kew gardens
Close to lots of jobs just to the east on Queens Boulevard. Large and underutilized plaza.
There should be a Citibike station on the corner of 78th and Queens Blvd (probably south-east corner next to flower-shop/pizza place) as it will open up the visibility for drivers who tend to speed up 78th Ave into the intersection. Alternatively, it can be placed directly in front of 112-50 78th Ave entrance or in front of the garden across the street.
By the bust station and the train station. There’s an island with a bank on it with lots of space for bike stations without impacting parking or traffic. The bike path is right next to it.
There are a couple of painted bulb outs that might work. Important to have a rack on the southeast bound side for riders making connections to the Eliot bike lane which leads to Ridgewood and Brooklyn. There's nowhere safe to cross Woodhaven right here so you a rack on the NW bound side people would have trouble getting across to continue to Eliot.
Bring Citi Bike to Forest Park!
Closest to Forest Hills Gardens. Zone should be extended south to Metropolitan.
Add a bike station at Yellowstone since you won’t go further south on this map. This is the closest to nearby residents south of the zone. The stations should be extended south to Metropolitan.
