This useless open plaza has easy access to bike lanes and plenty of room for both pedestrians and bikes (though it doesn't see all that much foot traffic, most commuters exit Union Turnpike Station on either the Forest Hills or the Kew Gardens Side, they typically don't get out in one neighborhood and walk to another. It is centrally located between all subway entrances, located very closely to the Queens Boulevard separated bike-paths, near the shared use path accessing Kew Gardens Hills (Which has no subway service). There are multiple new buildings going up nearby and this location is decently located to all of them.
