Yellowstone Boulevard - 65 Rd - 66 Ave

Easy access to local hospital & Yellowstone Blvd, my most used through way via bike. Yellowstone connects directly to Austin St. & Leading routes into Forest Park, and Brooklyn.

Continental Ave - Queens Boulevard - Queens

So MTA NYC Transit has just removed the Q23 bus route from Continental Avenue. This avenue has two discontinued bus stops on the SW and SE corner of Continental Ave. and Queens Blvd. service road. The SW corner would be ideal for a Docking Station and the SE corner should become a dedicated right turn lane for northbound traffic on Continental Ave.

Queens Boulevard - 71 Ave - 71 Rd

Near the 71st Ave Continental Station which would provide the "last mile" to residents on the northside of Queens Boulevard.

Perfect spot on Yellowstone just south of the drop off bus stop. It's half a block from the school playground and one block from the hospital. Straight shot from there to QB or up to FMCP

63 Rd - Queens Boulevard - 97 St

A rack on the corner of Northwest corner of 63rd Road and Queens Blvd would be extremely helpful because right now we have vehicular food vendors infringing on the entrance to the protected bike lane at that corner. A CitiBike rack would build in protection from that incursion , provide visibility of the bike path for cyclists heading toward the park, and make it easier for drivers to see where cyclists are heading when crossing Queens Blvd northbound.

62 Drive - Junction Boulevard - 97 St

We need a rack for the Rego Center and to provide Junction Blvd access. This spot already has painted curb extensions and is on the bike lane. ALSO, as much as I'd want racks closer to the retail entrances, there is a serious failure to enforce the parking regulations on Junction. There is not meant to be parking or even standing curbside for that entire block, but it is 100% ignored and now more often that a row of double parked cars in addition to the illegal curb parked cars. Navigating that block by bike is daunting because of the chaos at the entrance to the Rego Center, especially with drivers aiming towards the LIE. The 97th Street entrance could be a good location for a rack in theory because you can get to it from either 63rd Road or Drive, but there is a similar chaos back there and even more of a desire line toward the LIE.
