Need to have a station at the furthestmost spot available on Woodhaven. This corner seems like a better candidate than the other side since there's already some painted bulb outs here, the right turn onto Eliot isn't a huge desire line, and traffic coming through that spot is moving somewhat slower since they've just had to navigate that scary narrow space under the LIRR.
We need a Citibike station at Ascan near Queens Boulevard. It will be very popular.
We need a Citibike station at Continental / 71st near the subway. It will see enormous demand and usage.
Another triangle created by the geography of Queens Blvd, and the numerous side streets on the north side of Rego Park and Forest Hills. Put a station right in the middle of Federoff Park, inside all the benches, the station won't get in anyone's way. Two subway entrances just a block away east and west of Federoff Park.
Need a station at this intersection. On Austin on the Western/Southern corner (the vegetable stand uses the north side for delivery loading/unloading and often it's over-sized trucks). This location would have the added benefit of providing daylighting making it easier for vehicles turning right onto 63rd Drive from Austin. or on Austin on the Eastern/Northern corner. (Drivers making right turns off 63rd Drive onto Austin are a serious danger to people crossing at that intersection because they take that right turn hard and fast. A bike rack at corner could lead to the rack and users getting hit by right turning cars. 63rd Drive has the Q38 bus stops at this corner, and there's routine truck activity at the Key Food. MAYBE could have a rack on 63rd in front of the produce stand, but it would be hard to pickup/take out a bike when the bus could be coming up the road there.
Unused triangular space, can't be used for anything else.
A station here would provide residential properties address to the network and provide access to the nearby Willow Lake Nature Trail.
Really convenient location right across the existing separated bike lane.
Placed on Yellowstone in front of the park a station would both provide a network connection from a residential area and access to the park.
