The street space directly outside the Meat Market would be an ideal location for a Citbike station as it would connect folks using the 176th street subway stop and also deter illegal dumping and illegal parking. There is ample street space here that is currently underutilized.
This would be a great location for a citibike station on the street as it would serve to calm speeding car traffic exiting from and entering route 87, and would give folks access to/from the University Heights bridge to Inwood.
Please consider placing the citibike station onto the median curb that separates the center lanes of the Grand Concourse from the service road. There is an existing pedestrian crosswalk here for easy access and it will deter illegal parking and placard abuse - where nypd and city agency employees park their cars on the median.
This short block might be a better location for a CitBike station than right outside the subway station, as there is plenty of space and there isn't existing bike parking/bus stop here. So, it's complementary to surrounding infrastructure.
This would be a great place for a Citibike station as it is along a protected bike lane and there is already existing pedestrian plaza space which is currently frequently occupied by illegally parked cars and garbage. It is also close to a Bus stop and the school.
