1) No good stop Not in the middle of the intersection section is considered like a Highway. Or Under Bridge to the D, B Train Station. Because there’s no space for a Bike Rack under the Bridge. 2) Good spot is Sidewalk In the middle of the bridge Sideways Or the Parking spot. 3) Ether side of the Bridge. On the top of the Bridge. 200st and Bedford. Or near MTA Entrances to the D and B train. Bedford station. Citi Bike Member 4 year.
Fordham Rd train stop (4 train). Fordham Rd have heavy traffic between Fordham Pl to University Heights bridge. Where I select, have space to add a bike station. Commuters could ride bikes through Fordham shopping district to transfer to Fordham Rd Stop (B and D trains), arrive to the 2-metro north stations (University Heights from Hudson line and Fordham from New Heaven line), Fordham University, Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Garden, schools around the areas and so more. Also, I remember the fights over the jump bikes scatter over Fordham Rd. Thank you.
This is a "dead" section of Tremont that is empty space waiting to have a CitiBike station. It has plenty of space and would still allow ample space for pedestrians to walk to access. Great for local residents who want to bike up to Fordham to go shopping at the upcoming Target or head down to the South Bronx to Yankee Stadium or grab a coffee at Starbucks or even head into Manhattan.
The location would be better suited across the street. This is a green space and a cramped sidewalk, would prefer it across the street.
This will be a great location to have Citi bikes. The intersection is mainly congested with cars because of the highway. What better way to make New York City more bike accessible is to have a Citi bike path near a highway.
Ideal location for citibikes for a few reasons: 1. Plenty of sidewalk space for the docking stations! That means you don’t have to take up street parking! 2. It’s a growing business district with a supermarket and restaurants that would benefit from the foot traffic! 3. It’s the location of the CB7 office which would make sure to monitor and take good care of it
The plaza/triangle at the end of Grand Concourse has plenty of space and connects to the bike lanes/paths on Mosholu and Grand Concourse.
This a great location on the East Coast Greenway, and there is clearly enough space to accommodate CIti Bike because the NYPD already illegally parks dozens of vehicles on the sidewalk with no problem.
Good locaction for those that want to take A and 1 Trains.
