Red Light Running
Red Light Running
Queens Boulevard - Yellowstone Boulevard - 69 Rd

There are two traffic lights on Yellowstone at each Queens Blvd corner and cars crossing the entirety of the Blvd speed right through both or at the very least the last one, which is where pedestrians cross. It must be confusing for drivers, making it dangerous for pedestrians. This NEEDS to be addressed!

Need a crosswalk here and further up so pedestrians can move cross in between the park

Very wide and dangerous intersection. Partial crossings should be allowed when cars have left turn signals and crosswalks halfway across the Boulevard are not in the path of left-turning cars.

There is a 3-block stretch here with no place to cross Queens Blvd. With limited paths between Austin St. and Queens Blvd. at this same stretch, it means walking routes from Austin St. to the North side of Queens Blvd. in this zone are circuitous.

A mid-block crosswalk would help people cross from the mall to this park.

This is extremely dangerous. Once the bike path ends at Eliot, eastbound cyclists must perilously decide to continue on the left or right side of the Queens Blvd. service road for the next 1-2 blocks before committing. It's not an easy task: it's a busy intersection, you're emerging from the shadow of I-495, and the "sharrows" are not clearly visible. Drivers gun it out of the light. Cyclist are quite literally dumped from the relative safety of the bike path into a pit of one of the very harrowing areas of the boulevard.

NEED A DEDICATED RIGHT-TURN SIGNAL AND A DEDICATED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING PERIOD. VEHICLE CONGESTION ON QUEENS BLVD CAUSED BY VEHICLES HAVING LITTLE/NO OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN HERE DUE TO LARGE AMOUNTS OF CROSSING PEDESTRIANS.

Unacceptable congestion at this express-to-local lane merging point due to vehicles attempting to make a right on 63rd Road and a very heavy pedestrian presence at the intersection

Queens Boulevard - Connector - 63 Drive

This intersection needs to be made friendly for cyclists who need to turn here. EB cyclists wanting to turn left on to 63rd Rd and WB cyclists needing to turn left on to 63rd Dr., need a safe and clear way to do this. Indeed NYPD sometimes tickets WB cyclists on QB who turn left (south) on 63rd Dr., which is absurd. Plenty of room in this intersection to include bike lanes crossing north and south.
