Confusing Bike Route Connection
Confusing Bike Route Connection
Queens Boulevard - Horace Harding Expressway - Lie Wb Entrance Queens Blvd

No westbound cyclist is going to stop at this intersection to go left to the counter-flow lane just to return to westbound side one block later. ESPECIALLY not if you have to wait for the westbound green, cross, and then wait again for the light to cross to the median and then repeat the process at the other end of the block.

Major shortcut between new Rego Center and the Queens Center mall. But the entrance to that "park" space is subpar. Could use a more official pathway/signage to provide peds with a more pleasant alternative to continuing on Queens Blvd.

Queens Boulevard - 63 Rd - 62 Drive

The open unmarked space in this intersection is far too wide and drivers speed through and change lanes as they go through. Encourages drivers coming from 63rd Drive to make a passing lane out of the bus turnout so they can pass the car ahead as they move through the intersection.

Astronomical failure to yield here, as well as illegal u-turns off the eastbound main line.

Our building complex has many cyclists, and indoor bicycle parking. We are a surface-oriented. We use bike lanes and sidewalks! We would love to have more surface transit options for our daily commute and errands. The traffic in this area of Queens Blvd is gotten speedier as of late.
