There are numerous dead trees lining the medians in this section and many others. They need to be removed and new trees and greenery planted as a calming and beautification measure.

There are many obstacles such as phone booths, and poles that make it hard to exit/board the bus. They should be moved or, even better, the sidewalk should be widened with benches and bus shelters. This is one of the most frequently used bus to subway transfers in Queens.

Because of the many phases, it takes a while before the signals change, and as a result, many people cross when it is red.

Plenty of space at either end of MacDonald Park to install a lot of bike racks. Perfect location too!

The Green Taxi Stand here is out of control. Taxis line up and stick out into traffic causing obstruction and traffic backups. Extremely dangerous to bikers, peds, and drivers.

The road design with really wide lanes encourages speeding. The median should be widened and should have tree plantings and benches.
