Queens Blvd

Multi-phase, comprehensive redesign of Queens Blvd

In the last two months of 2015, DOT's Street Ambassadors have interacted with over 3,000 community members along Queens Boulevard between 74th Street and Eliot Ave. During a week-long outreach effort at Queens Center Mall, they collected over 600 comments for street improvements from the public, in addition to visiting 92 businesses to learn more about their commerical delivery needs. At our November 12th safety workshop, Corona and Elmhurst community members showed up to brainstorm solutions for a safer, more equitable street. Thank you to everyone who's already contributed feedback to improve Queens Boulevard!

DOT is currently reviewing feedback from this portal and our other outreach efforts. Check back for announcements about our presentation to the Community Board in early spring of 2016.
