The parking lane shouldn't be there. It causes major traffic issues
Too far and not enough time
There's not enough time for pedestrians to cross the street! This street is extremely wise and needs reconfiguration to make it safer for pedestrians, especially older people and people with disabilities!
Short light and wide intersection
Many pedestrians ignore the pedestrian red signal and walk putting themselves in danger of being hit by cars that have the green light.
Confusing traffic patterns for pedestrians leads to uncertainty and potential danger
Too many double parked vehicles causing major traffic during rush hours and weekends
This is a major pedestrian crossing. South of this area (Queens Blv) lies hundreds of family owned houses with children, elderly, etc. that would love to enjoy going over the mall, shopping center and adjacent areas but it is very risky for them to cross over. Feels like a vehicle will/can hit you anytime.
Better crosswalks for pedestrians. The drivers are VERY aggressive, especially turning from Elliot to Queens Blv. Also, the amount of excrement from birds makes it a health hazard, seriously.
Too short of time to cross
