This is a good dock location for any Middle Village residents looking to continue into their neighborhood on foot via Eliot who didn't manage to snag an E-Bike. That next block of Eliot is a substantial climb and might be difficult for many riders on a standard bike. Having a place to dock at the bottom of that hill would be good. Might also be a more pleasant place to wait for the Q38 or the Express bus to Manhattan than on Metropolitan.
A CitiBike dock could help broaden access to more people. More people will help booster the sense of plaza that has been occurring there of it's own accord. Maybe becoming a lunch area for workers, or a destination for explorers interested in our industrial history and waterfront access.
Workers in this area have erratic hours and (ironically) limited public transit options to this area. I always feel badly for the bus users when I pass them waiting across from the bus depot late at night. I will be likely be back to Rego Park before their bus comes. Having a bike option could cut commuting time for this workers and give them door to door service or connections to other transit, broadening their options for which train they might connect to.

excellent location of unused sidewalk on outer roadway of greenpoint avenue bridge. Blissville is in a transportation desert. We need this. Please. Tom Mituzas
This is a great spot for easy access to Brooklyn over the Kosciouzko Bridge. Also convenient for bus transfers to the Q67 and B24. This is a wide street with a dedicated bike lane already there!
The community of Blissville, Long Island City, houses approximately 500 residents and has 3 homeless shelters. We have only 2 buses (B24 and Q67) which are not very reliable especially on the weekend. Blissville has businesses such as Silvercup Studios and a couple of restaurants that could benefit greatly from Citibikes. In addition, Blissville is a diverse community made up of poor people and working-class people. We are underserved and it would be great if we could bet the Citibikes here. We have our Blissville Civic Association and two Community Board 2 members who advocate for our community which is overlooked compared to our neighbors Hunter's Point and Sunnyside. We highly recommend the corner of REVIEW AVENUE AND GREENPOINT AVENUE as the PERFECT location for Citibikes. Please seriously consider this location and Blissville.
Please put some bikes here!
There needs to be a station at this train station. I can't say how many times I waited a half an hour for a bus here, wishing there was CitiBike I could use instead. The bus connector added a plus or minus half an hour to my commute when the trip would take 10 minutes by bike. Sadly my apartment is still not in a CitiBike zone, so this is really just a placeholder for me for future expansion. AS TO PLACEMENT: the block of the actual train station is a heavily used bus stop and the sidewalks are already narrow and flooded with people transferring to the bus. Perhaps a better location would on the sidewalk in front of the mall. Which has little to no pedestrian activity due to the fact that the building entrances are designed with the expectation of visitors arriving by car and using the garage to enter the stores.
