Affect parking
Good spot for a station. Lots of new residential construction that needs to be served, and a quieter street compared with nearby options.
Good place for a station. In between two major thoroughfares, and a straight shot to the bike lane on bedford
This is one of the most dangerous intersections in the neighborhood. I see so many southbound drivers on Flatbush ave blindly turn right onto Parkside ave. Adding a station here I fear would only make it worse. City needs to do something about this intersection, it is very dangerous.
Near this subway stop just makes sense. This way people can get off the train and transfer to bike, or vice versa. it is also near the park, which is critical.
The Parade Grounds is a clear destination, and placing docks near the bike lanes on Rugby & Argyle will make it easier for bicyclists to choose safer routes when heading south. The reality is there aren't really any safe east-west connections south of Parkside Ave, but many bicyclists, myself included, bike all of them regularly because it's necessary for us to get where we need to go. Paths people are identifying as unsafe for bicyclists present an opportunity for street design improvement.
good spot along bike lane
This location would provide riders easy access going west to the new two-way bike lane on Parkside Av, minimizing the time distance between non-marked bike route to a marked bike path. If a docking station were to be placed in the intersection between Bedford Av, Caton Av, and Linden Blvd., this location would serve as a intermediate point between the aforementioned station and the existing station on the corner of Bedford Av and Sterling Street.
