East 19 St - Beverley Rd - Cortelyou Rd

It would be great to have a Citibike stand at E19th and Cortelyou, since it's a very dense block just south of this, with hundreds of units in 6 story buildings (one of the most dense blocks in the neighborhood). I wouldn't want the citibike station to block a dedicated bus lane though!

I would love to see a citibike station next to the Duane Reade on Cortelyou road, across from the Cortelyou road subway. It would be great to see a dedicated bus lane on Cortelyou road too, so that high capacity buses can move quickly and don't get stuck in congestion caused by private cars. At the same time, I often see private cars coming through/across Cortelyou at very high speeds (both super dangerous and illegal), so I think to keep pedestrians and bikers safe, we would also need to install cameras at all these intersections that catch speeders automatically. There's no reason whatsoever for someone to be driving more than 25mph in a crowded business district, and they should be effortlessly fined for their reckless behavior (leaning on police officers to enforce speeding laws 24/7 super ineffective and inefficient, is a massive waste of money)

A beloved taco truck sets up here regularly, plus on Sundays the farmers' market is here. The south side of Cortelyou is a good option though.

This is a perfect place for a CitiBike dock. And throw some nice tables, chairs, and some planters so its somewhat nice to walk by. Also, clean up the tree pits!
